Laptop Stand Fan and Docking Station Assembly Guide

I. Stand Main Body Assembly
1. Unfold the Stand Structure
Remove the folded stand, release locks on both sides.
Rotate the support rod vertically until a "click" confirms locking (for adjustable stands, extend the telescopic rod).
Example: JRCARE dual-axis stands require unlocking the rotating shaft first, then fixing the base and lift rod at 90°.

2. Install Anti-Slip Pads
Peel off the backing film of silicone anti-slip pads and adhere them to the 4 contact points (usually marked with grooves).
Press firmly for 10 seconds to ensure adhesion (stress test: place 3kg books to verify stability).

II. Fan Module Installation
A. Built-in Fan Type
1. Locate Air Intake
Flip the stand to expose the bottom grille area (typically covered by a dust filter).
Remove 4 fixing screws with a cross-head screwdriver to detach the filter cover.

2. Secure the Fan
Thread the fan cable through the stand’s pre-drilled hole, aligning screw holes (ensure fan airflow arrows point toward the laptop base).
Tighten corner screws moderately (avoid over-tightening), then reattach the dust filter.

B. Magnetic Fan Type (e.g., Razer Pressure-Optimized)
1. Select Frame Size
Choose a magnetic frame matching your laptop size (14/15.6/17 inches).
Align frame magnets with the stand’s metal contact points for automatic attachment.

2. Connect Turbo Fan
Insert the fan power cable into the stand’s DC 12V port.
Power on the stand to verify downward airflow (test with a paper strip).

3. Power Solutions
    USB-powered: Connect to laptop’s USB-A port (5V/1A)
Dedicated adapter: Use included 12V/2A adapter (essential for high-performance fans)

III. Docking Station Integration
Step 1: Secure Interface Module
      Clip-in Design
Slide the docking module into the stand’s side groove until it clicks.
      Screw-Fixed Type
Use included M3*6mm screws to fasten through docking station holes into threaded stand holes.

Step 2: Cable Connections

Cable Type Connection Method    Precautions
USB Uplink Insert into laptop USB-C/Thunderbolt™ Verify protocol (USB 3.0 requires 5Gbps bandwidth)
HDMI Cable Connect to external display   4K output needs HDMI 2.0+
HDMI Cable Connect to PD charger (>60W) Gaming laptops recommend 100W+ input
Ethernet Cable Plug into Gigabit RJ45 port Speed test to confirm ≥900Mbps

Step 3: Cable Management
Bundle cables with included hook-and-loop straps under the stand.
Wrap excess USB/HDMI cables around the stand’s cable hooks.

V. Critical Notes
1. Power Safety
Total power consumption (fan + dock + PD charging) MUST NOT exceed adapter rating (e.g., 120W adapter supports 60W PD + 40W fan + 20W peripherals).

2. Cooling Optimization
Maintain ≥2cm clearance under fan intakes (adjust stand feet if needed).
Ensure 1-1.5cm gap between laptop base and fan exhaust (add nuts if stand height is insufficient).

3. Interface Conflict Troubleshooting
   If external HDD disconnects frequently:
Ensure uplink cable connects to laptop’s native port (not through another hub)
Reduce dock load (avoid simultaneous file transfer + video output)

VI. Post-Assembly Checklist
Verify sequentially:
1. Stand stability: Gently nudge laptop after placement
2. Fan operation: Test all speed settings/noise levels
3. Dock functions:
   - USB device recognition (simultaneous mouse + flash drive)
   - 4K@60Hz video output (HDMI to TV/monitor)
   - PD charging power (≥45W via power meter)
   - Gigabit speed (≥900Mbps via speedtest.net)

Pro Tip: New units often have protective films/insulators—remove them before assembly. Follow the golden rule: Secure mechanics → Connect electronics → Organize cables, Full setup typically takes ≤20 minutes.
